Managed IT services
We monitor, manage, support and secure your IT systems and users under one agreement, for a fixed and predictable monthly fee.
Montreal organizations work under some of the most detailed privacy rules in the country. We run and secure your technology with those rules in mind, from the help desk to your ERP.
Montreal's economy is unusually broad. Banks, insurers and investment firms sit alongside aerospace manufacturers and their suppliers, life sciences and health research, a large video game and visual effects industry, universities, and an artificial intelligence research community with an international reputation. Around them are thousands of professional firms, distributors and non-profits that need the same dependable IT at a smaller scale.
Across that mix, we see the same pressures:
Managed IT services provide one accountable team for support, monitoring, patching, device management and vendor coordination, with 24/7 help desk access for managed-service clients.
Our cybersecurity services cover multi-factor authentication, endpoint detection, email security, logging and staff training. Security assessments give you an honest picture of where you stand, and privacy and compliance readiness work connects that picture to what Law 25 and PIPEDA expect: access controls, retention, incident procedures and evidence you can show an auditor or insurer.
For operations, Prometheus ERP brings finance, purchasing, inventory, projects and HR into one system, configured and automated around your processes. When an off-the-shelf tool will not do, our software development team builds and integrates what you need.
Our support is delivered remotely. Users reach the help desk by phone, email or ticket, and we work on their devices, servers and cloud services through secure remote tools. Because Montreal is on Eastern Time, our working day lines up with yours, and managed-service clients have 24/7 access beyond it.
On-site work in Montreal is arranged case by case. If a project needs hands on site, such as a network refresh or an office move, we agree how that will happen before the work begins and record it in your service agreement. Response targets for each priority level are set there too.
We describe these obligations to help you plan. They are general information, not legal advice.
Many organizations already have a Law 25 policy on paper and want to know whether their systems match it. A practical starting point is a technical review that answers a few direct questions: where personal information is stored, who can reach it, whether access is logged, how long it is kept, which vendors host it and in which country, and how an incident would be detected and recorded.
You get a plain report of gaps in priority order, what closing each one involves, and an estimate in Canadian dollars. Typical early fixes include enforcing multi-factor authentication, tightening Microsoft 365 sharing settings, setting retention rules, turning on audit logging, and documenting where each system's data lives. Larger work, such as moving to a Canadian cloud region or consolidating tools into Prometheus, is planned in stages with a privacy impact assessment in mind from the start.

Law 25 modernized Quebec's private-sector privacy law. It requires a person in charge of personal information, privacy impact assessments before certain projects and before information is communicated outside Quebec, and a register of confidentiality incidents. Those duties shape how systems are chosen, configured and logged. We help with the technical side; this is general information, not legal advice.
In many cases, yes. Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud all offer Canadian regions, including locations in Montreal and Québec City. Region choice supports residency, but support access and backups matter too, so we review the whole arrangement with you.
Montreal and Ontario share Eastern Time, and managed-service clients have 24/7 help desk access in any case.
Most of our work is remote. When a task needs someone on site, we arrange it case by case and agree the details in your service agreement before the work starts.
