Managed IT services
We monitor, manage, support and secure your IT systems and users under one agreement, for a fixed and predictable monthly fee.
Vancouver organizations trade with the world and work across time zones. We keep their systems supported, secured and connected, with round-the-clock help for managed-service clients.
Vancouver is home to Canada's largest port and is the country's main gateway to Asia-Pacific trade. Around the port sit freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and distributors. The region also has a large film, television and visual effects industry, a growing technology sector, tourism and hospitality, and the professional firms that serve all of them.
Organizations here often run into the same IT problems:
Our managed IT services give you one accountable team for help desk, monitoring, patching, device management and vendor coordination. Cybersecurity services add multi-factor authentication, endpoint detection, email filtering and staff training focused on the fraud patterns your finance and operations teams actually see.
Cloud services and Microsoft 365 work bring subscriptions, identities, sharing and backups under control, with data stored in Canadian regions where that matters to you. For distributors and logistics firms, Prometheus ERP connects purchasing, inventory, warehouse, sales and accounting, and system integration links it to carriers, e-commerce platforms and customer portals.
We deliver support remotely. Staff raise requests by phone, email or ticket, and we reach devices, servers and cloud services through secure remote tools. The three-hour difference from Eastern Time does not limit help: managed-service clients have 24/7 help desk access, and maintenance windows are planned around your working hours on the Pacific coast.
On-site work in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland is arranged case by case. When a project needs someone in the room, for example new network hardware or an office move, we agree how it will be handled before the work begins and write it into your service agreement along with the response target for each priority level.
We describe these obligations to help you plan. They are general information, not legal advice.
Start with a review of your accounts, devices, cloud subscriptions, backups and the systems each team depends on. You receive a plain list of risks in priority order, what fixing each involves and an estimate in Canadian dollars. Quick wins, such as enforcing multi-factor authentication and adding payment verification steps, often come first, with larger projects planned in stages after that.
For firms moving goods, a common next step is replacing the spreadsheet that sits between the order system, the warehouse and accounting. We map how an order actually travels through your business today, from quote to delivery to invoice, then configure Prometheus to follow that path and connect it to the carriers and platforms you already use. Staff are trained on the parts they touch, and the old and new processes run side by side until everyone is confident.
For production companies and project-based firms, the priority is often different: controlling access to shared storage and cloud accounts as freelancers and contractors come and go, and making sure project files are backed up in a way that can actually be restored when a deadline is close.

Not for day-to-day support. Vancouver is three hours behind Eastern Time, and managed-service clients have 24/7 help desk access, so your staff can reach us whenever they are working. Planned changes are scheduled around your hours, not ours.
Most private organizations in British Columbia fall under BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) rather than PIPEDA for personal information handled within the province. Public bodies follow BC's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). This is general information, not legal advice.
Usually, yes. Major cloud providers run Canadian regions, and we can configure Microsoft 365, backups and business systems to store data in Canada. We also look at where support staff and third-party tools access it from, because storage location is only part of the question.
Most work is done remotely. On-site work in the Lower Mainland is arranged case by case and agreed in your service agreement before it is needed.
