Our approach

How we work

A standards-based approach to running and changing technology, so your systems stay stable, secure and aligned with your business.

Managed services: onboarding to steady state

  1. Discovery and assessment. We document your users, devices, network, cloud services, applications, vendors and risks, and identify urgent issues.
  2. Service agreement. Coverage, support hours (24/7 for managed-service clients), priority levels (P1 to P4), response targets, responsibilities and reporting are set out in writing.
  3. Onboarding. Monitoring and management agents, documentation, security baselines, backup verification and vendor contacts are put in place, and your people learn how to reach support.
  4. Operate. Proactive monitoring, patching, help desk, vendor coordination and security operations run day to day.
  5. Review and plan. Regular strategic business reviews with your virtual CIO cover performance, risks, budget and the roadmap.

Projects: scoped, tested and handed over

  • Scope first. Deliverables, exclusions, dependencies, acceptance tests, timeline and cost in CAD are agreed before work starts.
  • Build safely. Staging and test environments wherever possible, change control for production, and a rollback plan for every significant change.
  • Test against the agreed criteria and share the evidence.
  • Hand over. Documentation, training and administrator access in your organization's name. Ongoing support continues under a managed-services agreement if you choose.

Governance and security

  • Least-privilege, individually assigned access that you can review and revoke at any time.
  • Credentials kept in secure vaults, never sent by email.
  • Changes logged and reviewed; major changes scheduled with you.
  • Your data handled in line with Canadian privacy law and our privacy policy.

Communication

You have a named account contact and direct access to support. Material changes to cost, schedule or risk are raised in writing before they happen.
