Junior Front-End Developer

About the role

You will work with our designers and backend developers on client web applications, customer portals and ERP interfaces. We care about accessibility, performance and code that the next developer can read, and you will get code review and mentoring to grow quickly.

What you will do

• Build responsive, interactive interfaces with HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript
• Work with React, Vue or Angular, and with the Frappe UI where ERP screens are involved
• Implement designs faithfully with the UX/UI team, including accessibility (WCAG) requirements
• Integrate front ends with REST APIs built by our backend developers
• Optimize for speed and reliability across browsers and devices
• Write clean, reusable components and take part in code reviews
• Document interface solutions for the rest of the team

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of front-end development experience
• Strong HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with at least one modern framework: React, Vue or Angular
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser issues and web performance
• Comfort with Git and working from tickets and designs
• A portfolio or code samples that show your work

Nice to have

• Accessibility testing experience
• CSS preprocessors or utility frameworks
• Basic SEO and analytics knowledge
