Accessibility
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our target
We design and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we have done
- Page structure uses proper headings, landmarks and lists, and every page can be read without JavaScript.
- All functions, including the navigation menu and the enquiry form, work with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG AA colour contrast.
- Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked in text, and errors are described next to the field and in a summary.
- Pages reflow at 200% and 400% zoom on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling of the page.
- Motion is minimal and respects the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
- Images that carry information have text alternatives; diagrams include a text description.
How we test
We test every page with automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks, and our page templates with scripted checks for keyboard navigation, visible and unobscured focus, target size, text spacing, reflow at 320 pixels and 200% zoom, and form input purposes. Automated and scripted tools catch many problems but not all, and passing them is not a certification, so we also review pages manually. Results are recorded with dates in our website documentation.
Known limitations
- Linked vendor documentation and other external websites are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
- We have not yet had this website reviewed by people who use assistive technology daily. We would welcome that feedback.
