ERP implementation
Plan, implement and support an ERP that fits your organization, led by Prometheus and ERPNext, with migration from the systems you use today.
NetSuite is a cloud ERP covering financials, purchasing, inventory, order management and more. We help organizations move to it from on-premise accounting systems, configure it for Canadian tax and multi-currency operations, and connect it to the CRM, e-commerce and other systems around it.
We implement, optimize and integrate Oracle NetSuite. NetSuite is a cloud ERP that brings financials, purchasing, inventory, order management and reporting into one system, with support for multiple subsidiaries and currencies. It suits growing organizations that want a vendor-hosted platform rather than servers to maintain.
Many of our NetSuite conversations begin with a finance team that has outgrown on-premise or desktop accounting software. The comparison between a system such as Sage 100 running on your own servers and a cloud ERP is not only about features: it covers who maintains the servers, how remote staff get access, how upgrades happen, and how easily the system connects to others. Our article on on-premise versus cloud ERP walks through those trade-offs.
A move from software such as Sage 100 is as much a finance project as a technology one. We agree with your finance team and accountant what to bring across: usually customers, suppliers, items and the chart of accounts, opening balances, and open receivables and payables. Detailed history often stays in an archived copy of the old system, which keeps the migration simpler and cheaper. Trial migrations are reconciled against the old system's trial balance and aged reports, a trial month-end is run in NetSuite, and cut-over is timed to a period end. Once the new system is stable, the old servers and licences can be retired and remote staff no longer need a VPN connection to reach the accounting system.
NetSuite usually sits at the centre of several systems: a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot, an e-commerce platform, a warehouse or shipping system, banking and payroll. NetSuite provides SuiteTalk REST web services and other integration options, and we choose between native connectors, an integration platform and direct API work based on your volumes and skills. Every integration follows the principles of our system integration service: one owner per type of data, retries, alerts and reconciliation.
NetSuite is one of several ERPs we work with. If owning your platform and data matters more than a vendor-hosted service, Prometheus, our ERP built on ERPNext, may be a better fit. Our ERP solutions service can help you compare options before you commit. Promatics is not an Oracle NetSuite partner or reseller; you license NetSuite directly from Oracle NetSuite, and we advise on modules so you pay only for what you need.
The exact list is agreed in writing for each project. These are the usual deliverables and the usual boundaries.
Most delays in this kind of work come from access and decisions, not from the technical build. Knowing these early keeps the project predictable.
Each stage ends with something you can review before the next one starts.
Map how money, stock and orders move through the organization today, the reports leadership relies on, and where the current system falls short.
Output: Process map and fit-gap analysis.
Define subsidiaries, accounting structure, tax setup, roles, workflows and integrations, and agree what data will be migrated.
Output: Solution design and migration plan.
Build the configuration, then run trial migrations until balances, open items and master records reconcile with the old system.
Output: Configured account and reconciled trial migrations.
Run user acceptance testing through realistic scenarios, including a trial month-end, and train each role on its own processes.
Output: UAT sign-off and trained users.
Cut over at an agreed period end, support users through the first close, and hand over documentation.
Output: Live system, first close supported and admin guide.
We do not publish package prices. Each estimate is based on an agreed scope, in Canadian dollars, with taxes shown separately. These are the things that move the number most:
No. We are an independent implementer. You license NetSuite from Oracle NetSuite, the account is yours, and we work in it with the access you grant.
Yes. We plan which data to bring across (usually master records, opening balances and open transactions, with history kept in an archive), run trial migrations and reconcile them with your accountant before cut-over.
NetSuite supports multiple currencies and Canadian tax codes. We configure them as your accountant advises; we do not decide how transactions should be taxed.
Yes. We can review configuration, workflows, reporting and integrations, then fix what is causing problems and document the result.
NetSuite is a vendor-hosted, subscription ERP. Prometheus, built on ERPNext, gives you more control over hosting and data. We can compare both against your requirements before you commit.

A finance-focused comparison of on-premise, hosted and SaaS ERP, covering cost, control, security, Canadian record-keeping and data location, with a decision checklist.
Connect the applications your organization runs on so data is entered once, moves reliably, and failures are caught instead of silently lost.
